Here’s your guide to loving your Flutter lashes for their full potential.
Wearing Your Flutter Lashes: Daily Care & Tips
Once your lashes have fully cured (after the initial 24-48 hours), here’s how to keep them looking their best day after day, beautifully capable of lasting up to 10+ days per application if you choose:

Be Gentle – The Golden Rule:
Just like with professional in-salon extensions, the golden rule is to never pick, pull, or rub at your lashes. The less direct manipulation, the better they'll last and the happier your natural lashes will be, ensuring both comfort and the longevity of your stunning look. -
Oil-Free is Key:
Crucial Reminder: Oil is the enemy of your lash bond! Continue to use only oil-free makeup removers, cleansers, and eye-area skincare products. Check your labels carefully.
Even natural oils from your skin can affect the bond over time, which is why regular, gentle washing is important. -
Makeup Smarts:
With Flutter lashes, you won't need mascara! If you do choose to wear other eye makeup, apply it carefully, avoiding direct application to the lashes or bands.
When removing eye makeup, use an oil-free remover and be gentle, working away from the lash line. -
Brush with Care (If Needed):
Your new lashes are designed to hold their curl beautifully. If you feel the need to groom them, use a clean, dry spoolie to very gently brush through the tips of the lashes to keep them fluffy and perfectly separated. Avoid brushing near the bonded base.
Washing Your Flutter Lashes (While Wearing)
Yes, you absolutely can (and should!) wash your Flutter lashes while wearing them to maintain eye hygiene and the longevity of your bond.
What You'll Need:
- Your favourite Oil-Free Cleanser (or, if you have one, a dedicated oil-free lash wash)
- Your clean fingertips or a soft lash cleansing brush
- Clean, lukewarm water for rinsing
- A small towel (ideally lint-free) or a small fan for drying
Step-by-Step Washing (While Wearing):

Wet Your Lashes:
Gently splash lukewarm water onto your closed eyelids and lashes. -
Apply Cleanser:
Dispense a small amount of your oil-free cleanser onto your clean fingertips or a soft lash brush, then apply directly onto your closed eyelid along the lash line. -
Cleanse Gently:
Using your clean fingertips or a soft brush, make gentle motions over your lashes and along the lash line where the clusters are bonded. If using your fingertips, ensure your touch is light and do not scrub. Focus on cleaning away any oils, makeup residue, or debris. -
Rinse Thoroughly:
Carefully rinse your eyes and lashes with clean, lukewarm water until all cleanser residue is gone. Avoid high-pressure water directly on the lashes. -
Dry Carefully:
Gently pat your eyes dry with a (lint-free) towel, avoiding rubbing the lashes themselves.
Allow your lash clusters to air dry. You can also use a small handheld fan on a cool, low setting to speed up the process. Avoid heat. Don't brush or touch them extensively while they are wet, as the bond can be more delicate.
The Flutter Refresh (After Washing or Getting Wet)
After washing, showering, or swimming (while still wearing your current application) we recommend:

Gentle Re-Clamping (Post-Shower Power!):
To reinforce the bond and ensure your lashes are perfectly set, you can gently re-clamp your Flutter lashes at the base using your Precision Tweezers.
Work section by section along your lash line, applying light pressure for a few seconds where the clusters meet your natural lashes. This helps maintain that strong, lasting hold. -
Seal Sparingly (Optional Mid-Week Top-Up):
If you feel it’s needed (perhaps mid-way through your wear before your weekly reset), you can apply a very thin layer of Flutter Seal just to the underside base of your lashes where the bond is.
Important: Less is more! Over-applying seal can lead to a white, flaky residue.
