Flutter was created by Alethea, a New Zealand-based award winning professional lash artist with years of experience delivering great salon extensions. Working closely with clients, she understood better than most what great lashes actually required — the technique, the product quality, the precision — and she was confident that with the right system, those results were achievable at home.

In December 2024, she introduced a small range of at-home lash kits to her salon, initially as a Christmas gift option for clients. They sold out within days. The orders that followed did the same. The demand was immediate and consistent, and the message was clear — women weren't looking for a compromise. They were looking for a professional solution that worked.

Flutter has been built around that standard ever since.
